As we prepare for the DOHaD World Congress 2025, we warmly invite members of the International DOHaD Community to contribute their expertise by submitting proposals for Short Courses, Joint Conferences, and Symposia. To help us shape the program, we ask that all proposals align with the congress` 10 thematic axes, ensuring they address key areas of interest and relevance. This is a unique opportunity to engage with peers worldwide on cutting-edge research and advancements in developmental origins of health and disease. Your contributions will be invaluable in fostering meaningful discussions and collaborations that advance our shared goals.

Proposals must fit into at least one of the following categories:

a. Short Course: These 3-day long courses will consist of 2.5 hours total, divided into 3 classes of 40 minutes each, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session, conducted over 3 consecutive days. This early morning activity is primarily aimed at undergraduate and graduate students attending the conference.

b. Joint Conference: Joint conferences are designed to be delivered by a pair of junior and senior researchers, focusing on complementary aspects of the same topic. The goal is to highlight the state-of the-art in the field, as well as their own expertise. This activity will last 50 minutes, ideally divided into a 25 minute Senior talk, a 15 minute Junior talk, and a 10-minute Q&A session.

c. Symposia: Symposia will be 80 minutes long, consisting of 3 talks of 20 minutes each, followed by a 20-minute Q&A session. We encourage proposals that bring together experts from different disciplines and backgrounds to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and advance understanding of complex topics related to our thematic axes.

Proposals must be sent by November 4^th, 2024 to  scientificprogram@dohad2025.com.ar with the following information. For all proposals, we highly recommend multiethnic and gender-balanced speaker panels.

a. Proposer (name, affiliation, link to google scholar or ORCiD, DOHaD Society membership status)

b. General summary (type of activity, specific relationship with which congress’ thematic axis, relevance, objectives; 250 words maximum)

c. Chairs (if not the proposer; names, affiliations, link to google scholar or ORCiD, DOHaD Society membership status)

d. Speakers (Names, affiliations, link to Google Scholar or ORCID, DOHaD Society membership status, justification for each indication)

e. Additional comments (Indicate and give details about the availability of resources to cover travel and accommodation expenses of the speakers, as well as general notable aspects of the proposal, 250 words maximum)
