On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our distinct honor to welcome you to the 13th World Congress of the International Society for Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD), to be held from September 7th to 10th, 2025, in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Our Congress will bring together leading researchers in basic sciences, clinical professionals, public health experts, educators, and policymakers from around the world, all dedicated to the pivotal mission of reducing the global burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and mitigating susceptibility to infectious diseases across the life cycle and into future generations.
Next year’s congress theme, “DOHaD: A Bridge Towards One Health,” highlights the essential interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. By promoting the convergence of the DOHaD and One Health concepts, we aim to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, encouraging holistic and preventive approaches to health challenges. In addition to exploring these critical intersections, we will engage in important discussions on the impacts of climate change on global health, further emphasizing the urgent need for integrated and sustainable solutions.
The 13th DOHaD World Congress promises to be a unique opportunity for networking, providing a platform for meaningful exchanges and collaborations. The comprehensive scientific program, featuring keynote presentations, dynamic discussions, and interactive workshops, will inspire and inform, enabling participants to share their latest research findings and innovative ideas. We are committed to creating an environment that fosters professional growth and the development of lasting partnerships among experts from diverse fields.
We look forward to welcoming you to Buenos Aires, a city known for its rich culture and warm hospitality. Join us for an enriching and transformative experience as we work together towards a healthier future for all.
